Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms," "Terms of Service") carefully before using the NJ Landlord Forms website and services operated by NJ Landlord Forms ("us," "we," or "our").

By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

1. Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

2. Use of Service

Our service provides document generation tools for New Jersey landlords. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Use the service in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law
  • Attempt to interfere with the proper working of the service
  • Bypass any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the service
  • Use the service to generate documents for illegal purposes or fraudulent activities
  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the service without express written permission
  • Use the service to provide legal advice to others (unless you are a licensed attorney)

3. Email Subscriptions

When you subscribe to our email list, you consent to receive our welcome email sequence consisting of 5 emails over approximately 5 days:

  • Day 3: Top mistakes accidental landlords make
  • Day 4: Get early access to NJ Landlord Forms
  • Day 5: Frequently asked questions

You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. We will process your unsubscribe request within 10 business days.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some parts of the service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis depending on the type of subscription plan you select.

At the end of each billing period, your subscription will automatically renew under the same conditions unless you cancel it or we cancel it. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected.

5. Free Trials

We may offer free trials of our paid subscription plans. At the end of the free trial period, you will be automatically charged the applicable subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial ends.

6. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of NJ Landlord Forms and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

Documents you generate using our service are licensed to you for your personal or business use as a landlord. You may not resell, redistribute, or create derivative templates from our document content.

  • Any content obtained from the service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

YOU ASSUME ALL RISK for any legal or financial consequences resulting from your use of our services. We expressly disclaim any liability for damages arising from disputes with tenants, government agencies, or other parties related to documents generated through our platform.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the service or contact us to delete your account.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
